Garage Door Opener Installation in Las Vegas
A new opener is the cheapest meaningful upgrade most garages can get. Modern units are quieter, they hold up better in Valley heat, and they let you check from your phone whether you actually closed the door.
Signs you need this
- The current opener is loud enough to hear through the house
- No smartphone control and no way to check the door remotely
- The unit predates modern safety sensors
- Repairs are stacking up on a unit past its service life
Belt, chain and wall mount
Belt drive is the quiet option and the right call when there is living space above or beside the garage. Chain drive is the durable, lower cost option for a detached or unoccupied garage. Wall mount units bolt beside the torsion bar and free the ceiling entirely, which suits garages with overhead storage or a high ceiling.
What gets checked before install
A new opener does not fix a badly balanced door, and installing one on a door the springs cannot hold will simply break the new unit. Before fitting anything we balance the door, check the springs and cables, and confirm the header can carry the mount.

Common questions
How long does an install take?
A straightforward replacement on an existing rail is usually a couple of hours. A first time install, a wall mount conversion, or one that needs the door rebalanced first will take longer.
Can I keep my existing remotes?
Sometimes, if the brand and rolling code generation match. Most new units ship with their own remotes and a keypad, and older remotes are usually retired.
