Garage Door Off Track Repair in Las Vegas
A door that has come out of its track is stuck, unsafe, and one wrong move away from falling. It is also one of the most common calls after a door is backed into.
Signs you need this
- The door is visibly out of the track on one or both sides
- The door is jammed at an angle and will not move
- Rollers have popped out of the rail
- The door was hit by a vehicle
- The track is bent, pinched or pulling away from the wall
What puts a door off track
Three causes cover most of it: a vehicle bump, a broken cable that let one side drop, or worn rollers that finally jumped the rail. Each needs a different repair, so the first job on site is working out which one happened rather than simply reseating the door.
Why forcing it back makes it worse
A door held out of alignment is under tension it was not designed for. Levering it back into the track without releasing that tension bends the track, kinks the panel edge and can drop the door. The correct order is secure the door, release the tension, repair the cause, then realign.

Common questions
Someone reversed into my garage door. Can it be repaired?
Often yes. Track, rollers, brackets and a single damaged panel can usually be replaced without a whole new door. We will tell you honestly when the frame or multiple panels make replacement the better spend.
Is the door safe to leave as it is?
Leave it alone and keep people and vehicles from underneath it. Do not run the opener.
